Mission Statement:
Dogs are man's best friend, but it is not always the other way around. Inspired by the dogs rescued from the Michael Vick dog fighting ring, The Little Red Dog was born. We rescue dogs, mainly pitbull type dogs (but we try to save as many breeds of dogs as we can) from high kill shelters and find them loving forever homes. You can read more about us here:
Last year we save 245 dogs and adopted them out, including 14 moms with litters that total nearly 100 dogs alone. Since our inception in October 2011, we have saved and placed over 1,500 dogs! We always need more money to care and feed our dogs; we are 100% volunteer based so every $1 raised goes directly to the dogs.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
We believe there should be no breed discrimination and that every dog deserves a second chance
Program History:

We also need volunteers to work events and walk dogs that are in boarding.
The Little Red Dog Inc is a 501c3 non profit animal rescue. All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, full vaccinated and microchipped (or will be when old enough). We ask for a $375 donation at the time of adoption so we can save other dogs. If you are interested in fostering, volunteering or adopting, please contact us!
