Mission Statement:
Unlocking Futures is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Unlocking Futures alters the way young people think about themselves from having limited possibilities, to experiencing an unimaginable successful future. Staff, Course Leaders and Mentor-coaches are extensively trained and practiced to maximize each young person’s chance to succeed.
Program History:
This program is co-ed youth population in which we use our unique transformational curriculum and mentorship. It is designed for young students who are potential leaders displaying frequent disruptive behavior and declining academic proficiency. The curriculum is youth friendly, centered in play, music, movement, art and experiential learning.
