We help adults meet their life goals by offering learner-centered educational opportunities.
Additional Information:
The Youth High School Equivalency Program is looking for volunteer tutors to work with young adults aged 16 to 24 years old, on standard high school subjects including math, language arts, science, and social studies.
When:
Mondays - Thursdays 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Come one day a week or more as your schedule allows.
What:
Since our students are preparing to earn their high school equivalency degrees, tutors are needed in the following areas:
- Language Arts (reading and writing)
- Math (basic arithmetic through algebra and geometry)
- Social Studies (history and civics)
- Science (life, earth, and physical sciences)
You choose which subject(s) you want to tutor in. Daily lesson plans are provided for you.
